Russia's first bilingual technical library appears at the Ural Mining University

    The unique bilingual library is being established at  the Ural Mining University. Five students from Mongolia have chosen translation of technical books into their native language as  their graduation paper. Young mining engineers have made a great contribution into the educational process. The graduates have translated five books in speciality “Mineral Dressing”. These books are  the first "swallows" in creation of  a bilingual library on mining problems, containing 100 volumes, which Mongolia would like to have.

     Bilingual library is a collection of books on mining questions in the Russian and national languages. This is a  promotion of achievements of Russian mining science, technology and engineering. All translated editions are  written by professors of the Mining University  and have no analogues. In opinion of the Rector Nikolai Kosarev such library, undoubtedly, will help better  training of specialists from countries which develop mining industry.  In addiiton to Mongolia, specialists from Algeria also became interested in   cooperation with the Mining University  and  formation of the project in their native language. The library will contain a hundred  of books and will become the first bilingual technical library in Russia.
