Masha Toptygina (Bruin) at the exhibition INNOPROM-2010

    These days Mining University presents its innovative scientific developments at the international exhibition INNOPROM -2010 in Yekaterinburg.

    The exhibits are  housed in new modern complexes "Rus" and "Chkalovsky”. The exhibition is timed to the Summit of heads of two states - the Chancellor of Germany Angela Merkel and President of Russia Dmitry Medvedev.

    The Exposition of Innovations in Industry on July 15 was solemnly opened by the  Governor Alexander Misharin, authorized representative of RF President in the Ural Federal Okrug Nikolai Vinnichenko and Deputy Chairman of the RF Government Igor Sechin.

    The Mining University was presented by several scientists, innovators and ... Masha Toptygina - extraordinary UGGU entrant. High VIP-guests have been  waited for until the evening, Masha had already looked through all exhibits, ride a Segway (in photo), many times took the photos with participants of the exhibition, but did not manage to take the President’s authograph.

    Dmitry Medvedev had a lot of meetings in Yekaterinburg, but he still sent a note to innovators with warm words: "I wish you successful projects in  modern technological solutions. Yekaterinburg is an excellent  place to carry out  such activities that contribute to modernization of our economy."

    The exhibition will continue its work until July19, inclusive, and Masha Toptygina will spend there the whole  Sunday. She really liked all sorts of innovation, especially miners smart fan and roller bit for wells drilling.

    If as a result of Germany - Russian consultations between Russia and Germany  visa-free conditions will be established, Masha Toptygina (Bruin) will meet  with a symbol of Berlin - Mishka Kosolapy (Clumsy bear), though she still does not know how to speak German.
