    Born on February 17 in 1961 in the village of. Kyzyldash of Armenian Soviet Socialist Republic to the family of workers. Specialist in the field of placer mining; Doctor of Engineering Science (2003), Professor (2004); Candidate's thesis: "Development of technology of consolidation of dusty surface of colliery waste dumps" (1994), Doctor’s thesis.: "Scientific, methodological and technological bases of hydro-mechanized preparation of gold-bearing rocks for fine gold recovery "(2002).

    He graduated with honors from V.V. Vakhrushev  Sverdlovsk Mining Institute of the Order of Red Banner of Labor (1987) with a degree in technology and large-scale mechanization of placer mining, a mining engineer. After graduation he stayed there: 1987-1988 – engineer of the scientific research sector; 1990-1993 - postgraduate student, 1987-1994 - assistant of the department of  peat and placer mining, 1994-1995-   Deputy of Pro-Rector for Legal and Economic Affairs, 1996 – a enior research fellow of the  fundamental research laboratory of the Department of peat and placer mining, 1997 - Assistant Professor of the Department of peat and   placer mining; 1997-2002 — Assistant  Professor of the Department of open cast mining, since 2003 - Professor of the Department of open pit mining, Director of the training agency for highly qualified personnel.

    Delivers  the courses of lectures on "Underground mining of placer deposits", "Mechanics of unconsolidated sediments”, "Hydraulic Engineering in placer mining "," The processes of open cast mining: geotechnology of gold mining"," Hydromechanization. Sand and gravel mining by means of suction dredges"," Mining of placer deposits”.
Major works are devoted to solving the problems of extraction of precious metals by open cast mining, dredging and underground mining He was awarded a medal for the best student's work of the Ministry of General and Professional Education of the Russian Federation, Honorary Diploma of the Government of Sverdlovsk region, the Diploma of the Ministry of Education and Science of the Russian Federation, the badge "Miner's Glory»of the third degree.
Author and co-author of more than 70 published works, one invention, 4 textbooks classified by Education and Methodics Association of Higher Educational Establishments of the Russian Federation on education in the field of mining.
